Cryoscopy

Cryoscopy is performed using instruments designed to precisely measure the freezing point of solutions. Modern cryoscopic systems are equipped with thermostatic control, high-precision temperature sensors, and electronic control units. They automatically detect the crystallization point and calculate the freezing point depression. A cryoscope typically includes a cooling bath, stirrer, thermometer or thermocouple, and a temperature controller.
