Microbiological Tests

Microbiological tests include a variety of methods used to detect, identify, and quantify microorganisms in different samples. The most common types are culture tests, where microorganisms are grown on nutrient media to observe colonies; microscopic tests, used to study the size, shape, and structure of cells; and biochemical tests, which identify bacteria based on their metabolic activity. Antimicrobial susceptibility tests determine how bacteria respond to antibiotics, while rapid test kits and test strips provide quick results for detecting contamination or pH changes. These tests are widely used in medicine, food production, and environmental monitoring.
