Syringe Filters

Syringe filters are small, disposable devices used to remove particles from liquid samples before chromatography. They are attached to a syringe and force the liquid through a membrane with a defined pore size. Common membrane materials include PTFE, nylon, and PES, chosen based on solvent compatibility. Syringe filters protect chromatographic columns and instruments from clogging and contamination. Their use ensures clearer samples, better resolution, and longer system lifespan.
